Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information BidWatch Daily collects, why, and what you can do about it. BidWatch Daily is operated from Argentina. Contact: support@bidwatchdaily.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email, name, company name and a protected version of your password (we never store the password itself).
- Company profile: what you tell us in setup, such as city, state, ZIP code, phone, website, business size, certifications, SAM.gov status and UEI.
- Alert settings: services, states, keywords and how often you want emails.
- Your work in the app: saved bids, stages, notes, costs, tasks, company documents, uploaded files and team activity.
- Technical data: the standard information our hosting provider receives when you visit (IP address, browser, pages requested), used for security and to keep the site working. Our visit statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.
- Email data: whether emails were delivered and whether links were opened, as reported by our email provider.
Why we use it
- To run the Service: show you matching contracts, send your alerts and deadline reminders, and keep your bids and documents.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: hosting and data storage.
- Resend: sending emails.
- GitHub: runs our daily job that prepares and sends the alert emails.
- Anthropic: only when you ask the app to analyze a bid document; the document is sent to its AI service to produce the summary.
- Lemon Squeezy: only if you buy a paid plan; it handles your payment details, which we never see.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights and users.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account, profile, alerts, bids, notes, documents and files from our database right away. Copies in email logs and provider systems are removed on their normal schedules.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your information in the app at any time.
- Delete your account and data yourself from Account settings.
- Stop alert emails with the link in every email, or in Alerts.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or any other request at support@bidwatchdaily.com. We answer within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example California, or under Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326), you may have additional rights, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords only in hashed form, and limit access to data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change applies.
